Lake Elsinore Councilman Thomas Buckley Faces Recall

Voters up and down the state are getting pissed off and riled up.  Councilman Thomas Buckley was served by voters and the recall proponents have 120 days to gather 2,800 valid signatures.

The document levies several accusations, including that Buckley has illegally accepted money such as campaign donations to support himself and personally benefited from a redevelopment agency purchase of property.

Buckley contends the allegations are false and the recall is an attempt to discredit him by the owner and supporters of Trevi Entertainment Center in response to his vote against allowing live entertainment in a nightclub there.

heres one for you Thmas Buckley just assaulted a volunteer on Saturday night as they gathered at four corners in lake Elsinore to gather petition signatures for his recall. He has finally lost it. Thomas Buckley appeared intoxicated as he assaults a volunteer in plain sight. a police officer has made a report which should be processed within the next few days. One that reveals Lake Elsinore Corruption from front row. Great job Buckley

If you ask me This Thomas Buckley is a walking Time Bomb. The City of Lake Elsinore had better start thinking of knocking this bad seed out of business because it looks really bad for tax payers of Lake Elsinore to be represented by this misfit out of control Syco.

I personally was there at four corners when this happend. I couldnt believ it. My husband wanted to interfere but i refused to let himget involved in that brawl. buckley is a loss cause from what i saw and I cant believe he would stoop to that level.

Seems to me the owner of Trevi is using his deep pockets to buy Lake Elsinore and turn it into the low class nightclub venue other struggling towns have fallen to. Buckley was correct in blocking Trevi's permit. As for alcohol related issues, that isn't corruption, its substance abuse and after the character assassination and fraudulent recall papers from Michel Knight I'd need a drink too. Funny the financial disclosure statement filed by Knight, er Caron, lied about the office space they are using and failed to explainhow they are paying for phone lines, petition gatherers etc. Total corruption yes, from Buckley? No. Beware of Trevi.

Thomas Buckley is a disgrace, plain and simple, now I see he's a brawler too! How does he support himself and his nights at a certain bar on Riverside Drive without a job? He supports it by being corrupt, that's how. Those who support him do not KNOW him and need to investigate his past shady dealings. It seems to me people are a little intimidated by Mr Knight's "deep pockets." From what I hear the man and his wife are very well-educated with degrees and have earned everything they have. I, for one, welcomed his business to Lake Elsinore. Just like in the past, new businesses seem to run into a block wall (ie - the city) when they try and bring something good to Lake Elsinore. I am tired of a few in office stagnating Lake Elsinore. We need people who know how to run a city. Honest people with degrees in finance, engineering, management, etc. This city can be much more than it is, however we need to make a change! Do not be fooled by Buckley and his cohorts. Take back your city Lake Elsinore! Vote him OUT! Investigate Buckley - you'll be surprised at what you find - or maybe not!
